A useful estimate request starts with your location, goal, photos, approximate work area, how our equipment can reach it, and anything you want to keep.
Lead With the Location and Your Goal
Your first message can be simple: tell us where the property is and what you want to become easier there. You might be trying to reach wooded acreage, review a future homesite area, open space between selected trees, follow a fence, or improve a view from one part of the property.
Include the town and enough location information for us to understand where the property sits within western North Carolina, northern Georgia, or northwestern South Carolina. Break the Property Into Work Areas
One property can contain several different goals. Labeling simple zones makes the estimate easier to discuss. You might mark an access route, forestry-mulching area, lot or homesite section, thinning area, fence line, or view. Use only the labels that match your property and note which one matters most.
A screenshot of an aerial map can be enough to start. Add circles or lines and match them to a short list. Mark trees, screening, structures, driveways, and wooded areas you want to keep. If the request approaches an uncertain property line or easement, confirm your authority before clearing begins.
Show the Way In and Current Conditions
Organized photos help us understand how the property fits together. Take one from the entrance, one looking along any existing route, and several showing the target area from different directions. For a view, include a photo from the viewing point. For a fence line, show gates, corners, and places that are difficult to reach.
Add a short note to each photo so we know what we’re looking at. You don’t need to name the equipment or diagnose the clearing method. Show us what you can see today and tell us what you want to change. We’ll help you work through the clearing needs from there.
Share the Size and Services You’re Considering
We offer free estimates, and pricing depends on the size of the area and the clearing services your project needs. Give us an approximate work area and point out the parts you’d like us to look at. Exact measurements are helpful when available, but they aren’t required for the first conversation.
You don’t need to guess a price per acre, equipment rate, or budget based on someone else’s property. Access, vegetation, work area, what you want left alone, and the services involved can all change the plan. Once we understand your property and goals, we can prepare an estimate for the clearing work being considered.
Keep a Copy of What You Send
Property ideas can change between the first message and the estimate conversation. Save the marked map, photo labels, and priority list you send so everyone can refer to the same version. If you change an area, note what moved and why.
This is especially helpful when several services are involved. An access route should stay distinct from a lot area, thinning section, fence line, or optional view project. Clear notes keep the conversation connected to the work you actually want reviewed and make it easier to add or remove an idea without confusing the rest of the request.
A short summary at the top can help: where the property is, what matters first, and what you want to keep. The map and photos can then support that story instead of making us guess which area is the priority.
